Let's Get This New Year Started

I'm very excited about 2007. I have some great stuff lined up outside of poker, and can feel this is going to be my best year to date at the tables. The poker gods have a sick sense of humor, and do a good job of trying to bring you down a peg. Luckily with the right attitude and some good play you can give the poker gods the finger. I was able to get in 2220 hands in a very rocky first day. Even after a few very tough hands I was able to eek out a $33 profit. I really enjoy days like this. It's a good feeling to salvage a win when the cards say you should have a loss. I won't say it feels better than a huge win, but it definitely makes me feel like a better player. $44 in bonus money made it a respectable day. All in all not a bad start to 2007. If I keep playing well it's going to be a great year.
